The great thing about Pizza Toast is that they are adaptable and flexible to what you have on hand. They can be as fancy or as simple as you want them to be. First, the bread is toasted plain in the oven until slightly golden; this will prevent the sauce and cheese from making the bread soggy. Next, the cheese is added on top, followed by optional toppings. Again, you can get as fancy or as simple as you want. Here, a bit of ham and diced bell peppers are added on top.
