Potluck Grape Salad
For picnics, parties, and potlucks!

If you’ve ever been to a church potluck, family reunion, or neighborhood picnic, chances are you’ve run across a big bowl of grape salad. It’s one of those classic recipes that makes its way onto tables again and again because it’s simple and totally delicious. The juicy sweetness of the grapes, paired with a creamy dressing and a crunchy topping… what could be better? If you’ve never made this classic salad then it’s about time to change that. Let’s get into the recipe!

It’s all about texture and flavors here. The base is a mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla, all mixed together into one rich dressing. The grapes are halved and folded in until fully coated. We like to make this salad with red grapes, but green (or a mix of both) also work just fine. It’s a little tangy, a little sweet, and always a crowd pleaser.

And let’s talk about that topping—it’s the finishing touch that takes this recipe to the next level. Chopped pecans tossed with brown sugar create a sweet, nutty mixture that gets sprinkled generously over the top. The result is a sweet and crackly layer that contrasts beautifully with the creamy salad underneath.

It’s also the perfect make-ahead dish, since the flavors get even better after a little time in the fridge. Whether you’re looking for a new go-to for your next potluck or just want a fun twist on fruit salad, this Potluck Grape Salad is bound to become a favorite in your recipe box.
