Cheese Baked Pudding
Diet: Vegetarian
Ingredients
- 1 loaf white sliced bread, cubed
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, add eggs and milk. Whisk until light and airy.
- Mix in worcestershire sauce, salt, onion powder, and cayenne.
- Add the cubed bread to the egg mixture along with half the cheddar cheese and all the swiss cheese. Gently mix to combine.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until top is golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
