5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip

Having company over is a delight, but sometimes you just run out of time before guests start showing up. In these times you need something quick to serve for an appetizer. This 5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip is just the dish to make quickly. It’s simple, yet delicious, and literally only a takes a few minutes to prepare. And, you may already have the ingredients on hand to make it! Keep some crackers in the cupboard and you’re ready to entertain at the drop of a hat.

5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip

It’s quite simple to assemble this dip and the secret lies in the cheese. We’re using shredded Swiss cheese here and the sweet nuttiness of this cheese shines in this recipe. But, to make this an even more versatile recipe you can use shredded cheddar instead for a slightly sharper flavor.

5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip

Mix everything together and that’s it. You’re ready to serve this quick and tasty dip. I like to serve some unusual crackers with dips like this as it makes the whole appetizer experience more flavorful and interesting.

5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip

When you need a super quick starter or snack this 5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip is a no-brainer. It’s cheesy, tangy, creamy, and has just a hint of onion which you can adjust to suit your tastes. If red onion is a bit strong then you can use white onion instead. A quick rinse and drain makes the onion taste a little less pronounced which is helpful in a dish like this where the onion isn’t cooked at all.

5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip

It really doesn’t get any easier (or tastier) than this 5-Minute Swiss Cheese Dip, a must-try for lightning quick appetizers.
