Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

It’s no secret that we love using our slow cooker any chance we can get. It makes those busy weeknights so much smoother when we can throw something together in the morning, let it cook all day, and come home to a hot meal that the whole family loves. When we think slow cooker, we usually think of the classics – pot roast, beef stew, pulled pork, etc. While these meals are amazing, there’s so much more your slow cooker can do! For example, desserts! And bread! Go ahead and see some of our favorite, unique things to make in the slow cooker!

Slow-Cooker Coconut Cake

With a recipe box full of slow cooker meals, we’re really having fun with adding a few desserts to our collection. From cobblers to cakes, the slow cooker is no longer reserved exclusively for a chili or stew. If you haven’t tried baking in the slow cooker, this is a really easy recipe to get started with. Slow cooker coconut cake may be served warm or cold, which means it will still taste delicious when we sneak in a late-night slice! Get the delicious recipe here!

Cheesy Slow Cooker Lasagna

Instead of using lasagna noodles and making a from-scratch filling, use refrigerated ravioli instead! Feel free to use any type of stuffed ravioli – we like using ricotta and spinach-stuffed ones – then start layering up your slow cooker with ground beef, tomato sauce, and ravioli; turn the slow cooker on, then come back in a couple of hours and dig into a delicious lasagna-ravioli dinner that everyone will love! Trust us, you might not go back to the traditional version after trying this one… Get the crowd-pleasing recipe here!

Slow Cooker “No Bake” Cookies
