I love finger food. Anytime I can have a small activity while eating a decadent dessert, I’m in! This is the chocolate, peanut butter monkey bread collab you never knew you needed to try. Store-bought biscuits stuffed with Snicker’s pieces, baked, and then glazed with a salty peanut butter glaze. A perfect treat for the holidays, gathering with friends, or for the local bake sale. My first time making this was in culinary school. I brought it home to my parents’ house for my family to try and we devoured the whole thing. BEWARE, Monkey Bread is addicting!

Top tip, I always keep a can of store-bought biscuit dough on hand. You can do so much with her, sweet or savory. Am I the only one who jumps when trying to open a can of biscuit dough though? Gets me every time. Monkey bread is supposed to be all about the pull. When you cook dough close to each other, it inflates the biscuit pieces creating soft warm pockets of bread that absorb whatever you coat it in. You can dip these in butter and toss them with cinnamon sugar, or you can stuff them with chocolate and coat them with brown sugar glaze to speed things up. One thing I learned is that I will always add a glaze to my monkey bread. This peanut butter glaze is mouthwatering.

Looking to make these for a birthday party? Cut the biscuits smaller. If you’re feeding a lot of people, cut them in quarters. If it’s for a little group, thirds are perfect and not as much work. If you want to serve these for a special occasion, these make for great cupcakes as well. Individual Monkey Bread CUPCAKES!? So cute. Bake these as close to serving as you can. The best part of monkey bread is eating the warm gooey caramel that forms around each piece.
