Mom’s Famous Pretzel Dip
A sweet and tangy dip!

Not all delicious recipes need to be complicated. In fact, it’s often the super simple ones that we turn to again and again. Mom’s Famous Pretzel Dip is exactly that kind of recipe. It’s creamy, tangy, and just a little bit sweet — exactly what you want when you’re pairing it with salty, crunchy pretzels. Best of all, it comes together in minutes with ingredients you probably already have on hand.

The base is a smooth blend of mayo and cream cheese, whipped together until light and creamy. From there, honey mustard and yellow mustard bring that classic sweet-and-tangy flavor, while just a tablespoon of sugar rounds everything out. A touch of garlic powder and paprika adds subtle depth without overpowering the dip. It’s simple, but every ingredient plays an important role.

Of course, it’s perfect with pretzel twists, pretzel rods, or soft pretzel bites, but it’s just as good with fresh veggies or even spread on a sandwich. The balance of sweet and savory makes it crowd-pleasing and easy to love. It’s the kind of dip that disappears fast, so you might want to consider doubling the batch.

Be sure to give it at least 30 minutes in the fridge before serving. That little bit of chill time helps the flavors blend together and makes the texture even better. Once it’s cold and creamy, it’s ready to serve — and ready to become a favorite in your house, just like it is in ours.
