Allow me to introduce to you… Garlic Bread Ritz Bits. This snack recipe is simple to make and dangerously delicious. Cheese sandwich Ritz Bits are pretty darn tasty on their own, but when you bake them up with garlic, parmesan, and plenty of butter they are out of this world good. When I say this recipe is simple to make, I mean it. Start out by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Put the crackers in a large mixing bowl then melt the butter (this can be done in the microwave). Season the butter with a generous amount of garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Pour the melted butter mixture over the crackers and give them a good toss to combine. Mix in the parmesan, then spread the crackers out on the prepared baking sheet and pop them in the oven for 7-9 minutes.
Once your crackers and nice and toasty, remove them from the oven and give them a few minutes to cool off. Once they’re safe to handle, you’re good to dig in! If you’re making them ahead of time then you’ll want to make sure they’re full cooled then store them in an airtight container or bag until it’s snack time. Ingredients
- 2 (8.8 oz) boxes cheese Ritz Bits
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour crackers into a large mixing bowl, set aside.
- Melt butter in a small bowl and whisk in garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Pour butter mixture over the crackers and toss to combine.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top and toss again.
- Spread crackers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes or until golden.
- Allow crackers to cool before storing in an airtight bag or container.
