When it comes to Christmas recipes, fruit salad is not typically the first dish that comes to mind… but this recipe is here to change that. Our Christmas Citrus Salad is the ideal winter salad, packed with tangy flavors and tossed in a bright homemade dressing. Its vivid colors are sure to wow on any holiday table lineup and its freshness is a welcome relief after all those holiday sweets! It’s truly the perfect way to round out your Christmas dinner menu. Let’s get into how it’s made…

With sweet little clementines, orange slices, crisp apples, pops of pomegranate seeds, and kiwis, every bit is loaded with delicious fresh flavor. The secret to this salad is in the sweet and unexpected dressing. With a mix of honey, fresh lime and lemon juice, and just a hint of vanilla, the dressing adds a bright tang that makes the natural fruits truly shine. Toss in some poppy seeds to finish it off, then it’s time to dress your salad.

Give it all a good toss to fully coat the fruit and, easy as that, your salad is ready to serve! The citrus juice will prevent the apples from browning, but I still recommend making this salad the day of to keep everything bright and fresh. Try out this gorgeous citrus dish for your next holiday gathering and I know it’s going to be a hit!
