A once-dilapidated old Tennessee barn not far outside of Nashville has been transformed into a stylish place to stay, thanks to its beautiful top floor addition.

Bloomsbury Farm is owned and operated by former social worker, Lauren Palmer. It is a working farm, which provides the local Tennessee community with organic produce through farmer’s markets and a 300-member CSA. And with its stunning views, it also doubles as an events venue for weddings or farm dinners. And since getting its barn renovation, it also serves as an adorable place to rent on Airbnb.

One of the changes made was that Lauren cleared room for full-sized appliances to go into the compact kitchen. There are tall windows which offer fantastic views of the 400-acres.

Some of the furnishings include a long-armed, 80-inch living room lamp, and custom wall-mounted sconces in the bedroom, which provide plenty of illumination without cramping the tablespace.

An unexpected addition to the king bed in the bedroom is the vintage leather wrestling mat which is tacked to the wall.

There is also a vanity that was upcycled from an antique cabinet that helps to maximize the storage space under the sink. And counter space is cleared with more wall-mount fixtures. The mirror is made out of an old die-cut mold.
