More About the Class:
This class talks about the versatility of the avocado and other ways we can see using it. Starting with a fabulous citrus-fragranced loaf with mashed avocados as the base. It tastes like a pound cake meets banana bread. The sugary-coated topping is my favorite. Next we’re talking about repurposing your guacamole into avocado crema. It’s a dip, it’s a sauce, it’s a way to extend the life of avocados that will soon go bad. Not a bad tool to have under your belt. Lastly we are making freshly ripe avocados into a deli salad with crunchy celery, cucumbers, and fresh herbs. Toss with a creamy lemon dressing before serving, and watch the way people gravitate towards this one.
