MortyLad is the creator who made this particular discovery and you are not going to be able to believe it until you see it. He is racking up tons of views on the platform, as he found an 18th-century well in his kitchen.
Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. This man found a well in his kitchen. That’s definitely worthy of a TikTok video, that is for sure.
Now, he is taking us through each and every step of the process. He plans on excavating and incorporating the well into the aesthetic of the home, which is amazing to us. A lot of people would have panicked and looked to call in the professionals to deal with it but not this man! “A little over a month ago we came across something absolutely amazing underneath our kitchen floor,” the Cheshire, UK resident shared.
He posted the video earlier this month and it has already gotten over 30 million views. “Little did we know we’ve been walking over a 300-year-old water wall [every day] for the past 20 years,” he continued.
He pulled up the foundations to lay heating and that was all she wrote. “While removing some of the sand we came across a really strange gravelly mixture in one spot,” he explains to the viewers watching at home. “Upon investigation it turned out to be hollow and full of water.”
