This is a wedding cake fail for the ages. In fact, it is such a ridiculous fail that it almost brought the entire ceremony to a screeching halt.
While weddings are always going to have their issues, most couples are able to get through them with ease. Cake failures are one of the most dreaded experiences, though. There isn’t much that can be done in these instances, which is why couples will avoid experiences like these at all costs.
Sara is the TikTok user who shared this story with the rest of the world. She said that she has been waiting for months to get her photos because she wanted to show everyone what happened.
At first, she showed everyone the cake that she was supposed to receive. It was supposed to be a four-tiered dessert platter. A simplistic round white cake made up the top layer. Meanwhile, glazed donuts were used to fill the bottom three levels. For garnish, leaves and flowers were used to provide the dessert with a funner and more sophisticated look.
That all sounds great but this is not what Sara received at all. This was not the wedding cake of her dreams at all. All she had for her big day was some chocolate and glazed donuts on a single platter. At the center, there was a small mound of white cake.
To top it all off, Sarah shared that the baker was over an hour late to deliver the dessert too!
In case you are wondering, Sara made a follow-up video where she explained that the three-tier cake stand that was supposed to be used was broken before the ceremony, so she was forced to serve these treats on a single platter.
Beyond that, the baker was so late to deliver that cake she showed up mid-ceremony with the broken platter and the wrong donuts, so members of her bridal party had to leave the ceremony to set up this awful cake! It took few months, but she was eventually able to receive a full refund.
