We love eggs! Scrambled, boiled, over easy, you name it, we love it. We didn’t know, however, that there were so many ways to cook and serve eggs! This is wonderful news because it just means there’s more to love.
Amiel Stanek, an editor at Bon Appétit, shows us just about every single way you can cook an egg while giving us a little more detail about the method and taste-testing each of his concoctions.
He goes over basic methods of course, like three different ways to scramble eggs and different cook times for boiled eggs, but soon enough, he dives deep into a world of eggs we never knew existed!

Like the method pictured above: cooking eggs in a tomato-based sauce. Basically, you heat your tomato sauce up and then make a little space to drop your egge, and then cover the pan to steam everything. The end result is an over easy type of egg with plenty of delicious flavor and texutre thanks to the sauce!

Then there’s the souffle omelet egg, which looks like a huge, fluffy pancake when it’s all done. For this, you’ll separate the yolks and egg whites, and beat the eggs whites until they form stiff peaks. Then, beat the yolks till they are creamy, and stir them back into the egg white mix. Scoop the eggs onto the pan and cover with a plate. After a few minutes, a crust will start to form on the bottom of the eggs, and that’s when you know it’s time to fold it in half like an omelet!
The cloud egg is another fascinating way to prepare an egg. You’ll separate the yolks and egg whites for this too, and beat the egg whites until the form stiff peaks. Then, scoop the egg white mixture onto a pan and bake it at 375 for a few minutes. Then add the egg yolk back in and bake the whole thing for another couple of minutes.
