Nothing comforts the work-beaten soul on a hectic weeknight quite like a quick and easy pasta meal. Very few pasta dishes come close to the contrasting complexities of this recipe for Tuscan Pasta. A pantry staple is the crux of flavor, which is a quick-to-prepare sauce that acts as the base to boil the pasta. This pasta dish is the quick weeknight one-pot wonder you’ve been looking for!

Packed in oil, sun-dried tomatoes are the not-so-secret key to having a complex and flavorful meal without having a long list of ingredients. This one-pot pasta dish starts off with sautéing the garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning in butter and olive oil until fragrant.

Once those ingredients release a strong aroma, carefully add in the heavy cream, milk, and dried pasta, making sure to stir everything to combine.

Simmer everything until the sauce thickens and the pasta is al dente. Finally, add in fresh spinach and grated cheese, cooking to wilt it down into the sauce.

Topped with more parsley, this Tuscan Pasta is good to go!

The sauce is creamy without being too heavy.

Sun-dried tomatoes add so much flavor, giving the dish the taste of run-ripened summer tomatoes. Ample amounts of black pepper alongside the fresh wilted spinach cut through the cream and the pasta to create a well-rounded pasta dish.

Sun-dried tomatoes are the pantry staple pinnacle key to transforming a simple creamy pasta dish into one that’s complex and brimming with the flavors of Italy.
