Baggage fees are easily the most annoying aspect of flying. We love to travel but we hate all of the hassles that can come with it.

If we could snap our fingers and teleport from place to place, we probably would. Once you see the lengths that this one passenger had to go to in order to avoid the cumbersome baggage fans, you won’t be able to stop laughing.

We have to do what we have to do! TikTok user Adriana Ocampo had to go to an insane extreme recently and she was willing to share her story with the rest of the world.

She was told that her bags weighed too much. Unfortunately, she would have to pay extra. That’s when she came up with an idea that is sure to make everyone chuckle.

Ocampo took the excess clothing out of her bag and put it on instead. She was not about to let the airline win. This is not an instance where she could merely grab an article of clothing, either. Adriana’s bag needed to be under a 15 pound weight limit. Since her bag weighed in at 28 pounds, that meant that she would need to wear 13 pounds of clothes to limbo under the aforementioned limit.

That was no problem for her. She is clearly very amused by the predicament. Adriana keeps throwing on layer after layer until she has finally gotten under the limit. She manages to lighten the load but at the cost of looking like she is smuggling another human being. The funniest part of all takes place when she has to stuff a tablet into her pants.

“This is how I’m going on the plane,” she says. “I’m in tears.”

Of course, this is the part where people are going to have an obvious follow-up question. Did she actually end up getting away with this? The answer is a resounding no. Jetstar realized what she was trying to pull, so Adriana got nailed with a $40 fine for her troubles.

And to add to this they cancelled the flight we had before this one

There is a lesson to be learned here. We should all be taking the time to weigh our bags and learn the rules of the airlines that we are using before we travel. If we take proactive steps prior to flying, hopefully we can avoid this sort of fate. No one wants to be stuck wearing 13 pounds of clothes in May.
