Colvin went to the retail outlet with a friend and took a video, saying: “Today we went to one of the only unclaimed baggage stores in the whole United States.”
He went on to talk about how the luggage is lost from airlines and people can go to the store to shop. Designer items are available and some vintage pieces may also be found on occasion.
Tracking technology is used by airlines to put lost luggage back in the hands of their customers almost 100% of the time. Unclaimed Baggage says that it is not a perfect system, so when the luggage can’t be recovered, customers are paid for the lost items.
