Perdue Foods has recalled over 31,000 pounds of Simply Smart Organics and Chef Quik cooked chicken products due to possible contamination, in an announcement made by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The recall is due to reports of extraneous materials, specifically bone fragments, found in the meat. Customer complaints to Purdue after finding bone pieces in these cooked chicken products has prompted their immediate recall.
