They say it takes a village to raise kids but apparently, it takes a village to embarrass them too!
For those of us who’ve grown up, we can probably look back at our childhood and laugh about all the times our parents “embarrassed” us.
Many kids are dealing with all kinds of insecurities and figuring themselves out that it really doesn’t take much for them to become embarrassed by their parents. It’s silly now, but back then it was the worst thing in the world.
I remember I’d feel so embarrassed every time my mom showed up to school and waved at me.
For many parents, they can embarrass their kids by just existing. However, there was one group of parents who took it a step further and orchestrated the best thing the internet has ever seen, when they performed Alice Cooper’s classic hit “School’s Out” at the bus stop during their kids’ last day of school right before summer break – and it’s so funny!
The song lends itself perfect to the final day of school, as well as provide the parents with a chance to be embarrassing.
As the mother cleverly captioned her TikTok video, “Why embarrass your kids by just existing when you can do this?”
