As many of us are in the process of making our way back to the office for the first time in a couple of years, there are no shortage of clips that showcase everyone’s setups.
Tate (@tiktoktatertotz) is currently working as a Microsoft intern and you won’t be able to believe the video that he is offering up. It is enough to make anyone jealous.
He is currently working at Microsoft’s Redmond, Wash., campus. Seattle residents may also be familiar with the location, since it is not too far away. Anyway, this young man has access to an astonishing number of snacks and drinks throughout the course of his day. This is one of the most awesome spreads that we have ever seen if we are being fully honest here.
Tech workers like Tate experience all sorts of amazing perks and it is enough to make us wonder how we can break into this industry.
If we were him, we would be leaving with a backpack full of goodies on an everyday basis. No wonder Google and Microsoft employees refer to their places of employment in such glowing terms. These really are some of the best jobs ever.
From the looks of it, Tate gets to sift through several coolers of complimentary drinks each day. Lunch is served at an on-campus cafe, where employees are given the chance to place their orders through a computer screen. Tate settles on a chicken teriyaki that looks amazing, quite frankly. “Oh my God, this was insane, you guys,” he says of the meal.
Throughout the day, he continues to enjoy all of the complimentary beverages that Microsoft has provided. That’s what they are there for, after all. No sense in false modesty at this point. There is just one thing that we need to point out. Unlike other companies in the tech sphere, Microsoft is not into the idea of providing their employees with free snacks.
We guess that the line has to be drawn somewhere. You can’t just let your workers gorge on free food all day! All jokes aside, we hope that more employees are given more and more perks once it comes time to head back to the office for good.
