2020 has been one heck of a year and it has taken a lot out of us, for sure. Our fast-food chains do not always help to ease the pain. We have all experienced the sadness of pulling up to the drive-thru window and being told that your desired item is no longer on the menu. It’s quite the gut punch and we can’t bear to deal with it anymore.
McDonald’s has heard the complaints loud and clear. While there are no shortage of copycat recipes to rely upon, there is nothing quite like the real McCoy. In this particular instance, you are in luck because the chain has decided to bring back on the most popular limited edition item that they have ever released. That’s right. The McRib is back in town!
We cannot wait to sink our teeth into one of these bad boys again. It’s been quite some time since these were readily available to the general public. The McRib is released from time to time in various locations, but it hasn’t been brought back at all restaurants since 2012. We hadn’t realized that it had been that long until this story came out!
We cannot possibly be forced to wait that long again. If anything, McDonald’s needs to be adding the McRib to the menu full-time. We are so #blessed that they saw fit to look out for us this year so we will try our best not to look this gift horse in the mouth. Of course, there are some who may be unfamiliar with the McRib.
It’s understandable enough because they can be rather elusive at times. For the most part, it’s not like anyone could just go get one anytime they wanted. That’s why it is important to take advantage of the opportunity while you still can, you never know when McDonald’s might decide to take the McRib right back off the menu.
These are the harsh realities of being a McRib fan. You have to accept a certain level of heartbreak. Be sure to set your calendars for December 2 because there is sure to be a lot of competition for these delightful sandwiches. You’ll want to make sure that you are able to get yours before it is too late. These will make for a perfect lunch, dinner or midnight snack.
