If you are an adult who has long wondered why they do not have Happy Meals for grown folks, this is your lucky day.
The call has finally been made. We must warn you, though. The Happy Meals are only going to be available for a limited time only. In fact, the promotion begins on October 3 and will be running until October 30, 2022, according to a press release.
These Happy Meals have been curated with adults in mind and they come with an unexpected twist. These Happy Meals even come with their own name: the Cactus Plant Flea Market Meal Box.
The meals are being offered in collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market, a high fashion streetwear brand. Every box contains an adult-sized meal and a special toy. Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie are included among them. McDonald’s shared photos of the meals on Instagram so you can see what they look like for yourself:
There will even be a new addition, known as Cactus Buddy. “We’re taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald’s experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that’s hyper-relevant for our adult fans,” Tariq Hassan says in the press release. As the McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, he is proud to bring us news about this amazing, unexpected collaboration.
“I can’t wait to give fans a unique piece of art and culture as we dive headfirst into the dynamic world of Cactus Plant Flea Market together next week. With menu favorites like the Big Mac and McNuggets at the center of this collab, this is another way we’re reigniting a new generation’s love for our food and the brand,” Hassan continued.
The meals can be purchased whether you are getting delivery, dining in, or driving through. Additionally, McDonald’s customers will be able to purchase Cactus Plant Flea Market merchandise on the company website.
Who wouldn’t want the chance to enjoy a Happy Meal that was designed especially for adults? McDonald’s lovers of all ages are going to be head over heels once they see what these two titans have cooked up together.SKM: below-content placeholder
