Are you a Key Lime Pie fan? Then great news! You’re going to love this snack mix. With an irresistibly crunchy combo of cereal and pretzels, this Key Lime Crunch has a sweet and salty balance and tons of bright key lime flavor. It really does mimic the Key Lime Pie flavor… but it might be even more addictive!

What Ingredients Are in Key Lime Crunch?

It’s a short list! You’ll need:

  • White chocolate chips.
  • Coconut oil. (This helps the chocolate set.)
  • Golden Grahams cereal.
  • Mini pretzels.
  • Mini marshmallows.
  • Key limes.

What if I Can’t Find Key Limes?

You can use regular limes! They’re a little larger than key limes, so you’ll only need three. The flavor differs a bit but it’ll still be delicious, I promise.

How Do You Make Key Lime Crunch?

It’s almost too easy.

All you have to do is melt the white chocolate and toss everything together. I like to use a microwave — just put the white chocolate chips in a bowl along with the coconut oil and microwave it in 30-second stints until it’s nice and creamy and melted, stirring it in between each microwave session.

Then you stir in some of the lime zest and some lime juice and pour that goodness over the cereal, pretzels, and marshmallows and toss it all together. You’ll want to spread the mixture out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and at that point I like to sprinkle over more of the lime zest.

About 30 minutes in the fridge will get it to set up enough that you can break it into chunks for easy snacking. And trust me, you’re going to want to snack on this immediately!

Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz) bag white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 4 cups golden grahams cereal
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 4-5 key limes
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Add white chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.
  3. Zest the limes and stir in about 3/4 of the zest into the melted chocolate, reserving the rest for later. Stir in the juice of one lime as well.
  4. In a large bowl, stir together the cereal, pretzels, and marshmallows. Pour the white chocolate mixture over the mixture, add salt, and toss until everything is coated.
  5. Spread mixture out on prepared baking sheet, top with remaining lime zest, then chill in the fridge until set, about 30 minutes. Break apart and serve. Enjoy!
