For those of you who just can’t seem to get enough Hallmark movies in your life, then you probably really appreciate when Christmas rolls around. You watch those movies for pleasure but imagine watching them for cash.
That is exactly what happened with Jasmine Stringer, who has the job of watching 24 Hallmark movies in 12 days. The best news for her is, she is getting paid for it.
Jasmine is an author and lifestyle coach in Minneapolis. After watching the movie she has to blog about them on social media. For her efforts, she is getting paid $1000.
In order to be selected for this responsibility, she beat out 218,000 other people who applied for it.
Jasmine still has difficulty believing that she won the contest. “This is surreal,” she told KARE11. “I still don’t know how they picked us.”
“Internet Service Partners: Authorized Century Link Sales Agent” Sponsored the sweepstakes.
Sharon Gifford, Jasmine’s friend will be by her side watching those 24 movies. “Who doesn’t love a good holiday movie? I had some girlfriends come over and it was a little pot luck, hors d’oeuvre, we wore our jammies, we just talked and watched Hallmark movies,” Jasmine was quoted as saying by PEOPLE.
“I love that they are happy. I try to figure out what’s going to happen and a lot of times I am wrong,” Jasmine said about watching Hallmark Christmas movies.
Here is the list of the movies she has to write watch:
Write Before Christmas, Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays, Merry & Bright A Christmas Duet, A Christmas Love Story, Christmas Under Wraps, A Royal Christmas, Christmas in Rome, Christmas Town, A Family Christmas Gift, Jingle & Bell’s Christmas Story, The Christmas Consultant, Christmas at Dollywood, Holiday Date, Battle of the Bulbs, Rocky Mountain Christmas, Every Christmas Has a Story, A Heavenly Christmas, Two Turtle Doves, Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy, A Gift to Remember, A Gift to Remember 2, and Holiday Hearts.
