Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

In the throws of a global pandemic, we need to look out for those most vulnerable. Unfortunately, that means that our elderly parents and grandparents need to stay at home cocooned in safety. As a result, there are plenty of pictures circulating the internet of family members interacting with their elders through the windows of their homes.

It also means that many of us are having to bring items to our elderly neighbors and family members so as to help them avoid making dangerous treks into the stores for supplies. Naturally, this means that many seniors have come up with clever ways of making sure others know what they need – like one 93-year-old legend who made a sign to let people know she was running low on her quarantine supplies: beer.

Olive Veronesi, from Pittsburgh, made a sign letting her neighbors know that she needed some beer. And it wasn’t just any beer, it was Coors Light. The sign was captured in a picture, which quickly found it’s way to the Internet. It went viral, attracting lots of attention, including that of the Coors Light brand itself!

The company had quite the surprise in store for the adorable elderly woman who wrote the now-famous sign that said, “I need more beer!!” while holding up a can of Coors. The CBS affiliate KDKA-TV reported that Olive was surprised with 150 cans of Coors.

“I was on my last 12 cans, I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it,” Olive shared with the media outlet.

But the surprises didn’t stop there. Representatives from Molson Coors not only provided her with 10 cases of beer – all packed and delivered safely according to social distancing guidelines – but they also included some cool Coors Light merch for Olive to enjoy.

Olive was quick to update her sign to read, “Got more beer!”

As KDKA-TV reported, Olive didn’t hesitate breaking open the Coors once she’d received her surprise delivery.

The adorable older woman said, “That tastes pretty good.”

Olive Veronesi is truly quarantine goals. Stay safe Olive, we admire you!
