The Happy Face Killer is one of the most notorious killers of our time and now his daughter is here to share her experiences.

She has become very well known on TikTok, as she does not mind speaking openly about the relationship that she maintains with her father. Of course, this is a very divisive topic, as many people do not understand why she is still willing to do so.

Keith Hunter Jesperson is a trucker who was born in Canada. He murdered at least eight women over the course of five years, spanning from 1990 to 1995. Melissa Moore, now 43, is one of his three children. He became known as the “Happy Face Killer” because he would add smiley faces to the letters that were sent to the police and the media in the wake of the killings.

Once he was arrested, Jesperson decided that he would up the ante a bit. He claims that the eight murders were just the ones that he was caught for and that he was actually responsible for a whopping 185 deaths. Now, Moore is sharing letters that her father has sent her from behind bars.

“Remember most of all daughter, I never stopped loving you,” one of his letters reads. This sounds nice enough but it was not long before the letters started to take on a tone that was less kind. A photo of Moore from her wedding day was included in the letter, which obviously startled Melissa at least.

It was not long before she concluded that her father must be able to look at her Instagram account from behind bars.

“In the letter he says I’m fat and my husband is fat,” she says. Keith went on to say that he was skeptical that the marriage would last.

Of course, having a serial killer for her father is something that is sure to impact your life. “It was a huge secret that I wanted to remain that way,” she said in her touching confessional clip. “In 1995 after my dad’s arrest, I was deeply embarrassed and ashamed.”
