You have to love a good case of irony, like when you mistakenly order too many pairs of reading glasses because you couldn’t properly read the website. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to one UK dad.

Check out the tweet below:

According to Chris Arnold, his dad had found himself in quite the pickle. According to Arnold, his dad’s mistake was too funny not to post to social media, so he got onto Twitter and shared the story of how his dad misread the amount.

He wrote in his post, “My Dad has accidentally bought 60 pairs of reading glasses off the internet after misreading the quantity of his order.”

The irony of his dad’s predicament wasn’t lost on SpecSavers, the website he’d originally ordered the glasses from. The company had some funny things to add to the comments section of Arnold’s post.

SpecSavers tweeted back, “Do we even need to say it?”

Arnold replied with, “At this point, guys, I don’t think you do. P.S. Are you interested in buying 59 pairs of reading glasses off my dad?”

“If you can’t shift them, you might want to consider adding an extra 118 eyes to your dad’s face,” SpecSavers joked back.

But ultimately in the end, the eyeware company was happy to issue Arnold’s dad a refund.
