Nissin has come to quite the decision when it comes to their Cup Noodles brand. Instead of pursuing their own new innovations for this product, they have decided to take their talents to the world of ice cream. Of course, there is just one caveat that we have to offer up here. The Cup Noodles ice cream is going to come with its own unique flavorings.
We are sure that this choice is going to be polarizing to many. To be 100 percent honest, we never really wanted to mix and match these flavorings. Cup Noodles are delicious in their own right and so is ice cream (which should go without saying). However, this one sounds perfect for all of the sweet and salty lovers out there.
We know that there are plenty of sweet and savory fans who are going to be looking to take some of this ice cream home. So, how is this ice cream being put together? As it turns out, the process is rather simple. They are not really reinventing the wheel here or coming up with any sort of recipe that is overly complicated. Nissin is keeping things as simple as possible.
According to HypeBeast, the noodles are made with a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream to start. From there, it’s topped with mock versions of shrimp, cubes of meat, sliced green onions, and small chunks of scrambled eggs. The company shared a photo of the end result on Twitter:

Sadly, the Cup Noodles ice cream is not actually available in the United States, although the pricing is very moderate. The ice cream only goes for $3.60 USD, but it’s only being sold at the Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama, Japan.
That’s quite a journey for some ice cream!
