Chicken nuggets are the go-to fallback for parents making their children dinner from coast to coast. Nowadays, chicken nuggets are an easy freezer staple for parents to have on standby, yet a recent recall from one large company isn’t something to ignore.

Within the past week Wegmans, a supermarket chain operating 111 locations across New York, Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Delaware, and DC has released a recall notice for its frozen fully cooked chicken breast nuggets.

While the product in question is not on shelves to purchase, the recalled product could be sitting in the freezers of consumers. The batch in question was produced in August 2024 and had countless consumer complaints where people had found sharp bone fragments in the nuggets.

The recalled batch in question has the establishment number of P-33944. The recalled item is called Wegmans FAMILY PACK FULLY COOKED Breaded Chicken Breast with Rib Meat with the expiration date of 08 26 25.
