There are many bills that we have to pay but one that we pay every month is our Internet, phone, and cable bill. It is often wrapped up into one and one of the largest companies that receive our money is Comcast.

If you’ve ever tried to talk to anyone from Comcast before, you realize that you are going to be on the phone for quite some time. They will bounce you from one person to another if you’re even able to talk to a person in the first place.

The issue isn’t only about finding someone to speak to, once you do get to talk to somebody, they are going to try to negotiate something with you that will end up costing you money, rather than saving you money.

If you ever wanted to save money on your cable bill, it may be a lot easier than you think. In fact, some people have used a chatbot, which is basically a form of automatic artificial intelligence, to negotiate a lower bill and it worked.

DoNotPay is a service that offers the chatbot, and the CEO, Joshua Browder was able to use the AI to lower his bill.

DoNotPay launched in 2015 after being created by 18-year-old Joshua Browder, and he’s calling the chatbot the “world’s first robot lawyer.” It might be able to do some interesting things for you if you put it to use.

Some of the things that they claim it could do are fight a speeding ticket, stop subscriptions, annul your marriage, or even get a rebate. Now it seems as if it can also take on the cable company.

The chatbot is not something that fights its way through the process, in fact, it is relatively polite. It wasn’t perfect, as it did have a difficulty with the email address for the customer but they are working on it.

In the end, it was able to get him to discount and saved him $120 in fees for the year. Considering the fact that you can get your own subscription to this chatbot for only three dollars a month, may be well worth it.

As they say, however, let the buyer beware. They say if it sounds too good to be true, it might not be true. This company has been called a scam by some but other people claim it is legitimate. Do your research before you sign on the dotted line.
