Chocolate Croissant Breakfast Bake

I am all about breakfast bakes because they make the morning meal incredibly easy, especially if you have a crowd to feed. But a breakfast bake that’s a mash-up with a chocolate croissant? Well now, that’s just a dream come true. Anytime you can work chocolate into breakfast it feels like a major win, and with pockets of melty chocolate and flaky croissants baked into a sweet custard, this easy bake does it incredibly well.

Easy Rhubarb Breakfast Cake

How many times did you dream about having cake for breakfast as a kid? I’ve got some great news for you – this Rhubarb Breakfast Cake is the stuff of dreams, almost quite literally.
The cake batter is earthy and slightly sweet, with the undertones of vanilla and cinnamon. Combined with tart rhubarb and a dusting of sugar on top, this is one breakfast no one can resist!

Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Bake

Our strawberry banana oatmeal breakfast bake is just the solution to those hectic mornings when we need to eat something good but also on the go. A healthy breakfast packed with sustainable ingredients gives us the boost of energy we need to get moving and stay moving. Fresh strawberries, bananas, pecans, and whole grain oats give this meal natural sweetness and heartiness. And just to reward ourselves for being so good about actually eating breakfast, we figured a few chocolate chips would be a good idea – especially if they’re antioxidant-rich dark chocolate chips. This is a recipe that we could easily serve up for a weekend brunch, but we like to have it as a go-to breakfast for weekday mornings. We can just grab a slice along with our cup of coffee and hit the road, knowing that we’ve got good fuel to start the day.

Lemon Thyme Breakfast Bake

Lemon Thyme Breakfast Cake
Lemon drizzle cake is one of the most delicious cakes to have ever been invented, at least that’s what fans of the cake might say if you asked them. But, we found a recipe that uses fresh thyme in a gorgeous lemon cake batter and the combination of the two is better than we could have imagined. For some folks, it might sound weird to add a traditionally savory herb to a sweet cake. However, the freshness of the thyme compliments the zingy lemon perfectly and is a wonderful foil to the sweet cake and glaze.

Orange Croissant Breakfast Bake

Orange marmalade. Cream cheese. Croissants. I probably don’t need to say anything else, but I will. Take those three things and mix them up in a custardy base that you bake until it’s soft but topped with crisp croissant crags and full of creamy, sweet citrus flavor. Sound like a dream breakfast? I agree. Think of a cross between a bread pudding and a baked French toast and you’ve got our Orange Croissant Breakfast Bake. Easy to make, easy to love, and the perfect use for any extra croissants you might have laying about. (As if “extra croissants” is ever a problem.)
