YouTube Couple Faces Criminal Charges After Staying Overnight In Target For Views
The internet has provided no shortage of opportunities for all sorts of merry pranksters to make a name for themselves. It’s been a gift and a curse, though. Sometimes, people take things too far and they do not realize it until it is too late.
That’s what happened to this Pennsylvania couple after they attempted to spend the night inside of a local Target for some views.

This story serves as a good lesson, letting people know exactly what will happen if they end up getting carried away. Johnson Larose and his girlfriend, Charlotte Fischer, are responsible for this prank. They were looking to get more eyes on their YouTube channel, Saucy and Honey, which currently has a little over 22,000 subscribers.
On February 21, they posted this fateful video, which was entitled “24 HOUR OVERNIGHT CHALLENGE IN TARGET (CAUGHT?!?).”

The pair filmed themselves walking in the store right before it closed and then finding a good hiding spot so that they could successfully stay the night. We’re not sure what would possess them to do this but we will go with it for now.
“Guys do not attempt what we are attempting at home. We are entertainers. We are risking trespassing. I don’t know what else can happen after that. If we get a fine or get arrested, I don’t really know. I don’t really care,” said Charlotte in the video. This is what happens when you allow a little bit of online fame to go to your head.

They brought water bottles and snacks, in addition to wipes and mason jars in case they needed to use the bathroom. In the video, they claim to have stayed the whole night in target and posted updates throughout the stay at various hours, including 4:00am and 5:00am.
However, according to security footage, the couple actually ended up leaving the store at 3:00 am via an emergency exit and returning at 8:00 am when it opened to finish the video.
What they didn’t know is that police were called to the store when they left at 3:00 am, and the police ended up seeing the couple’s video about the overnight stay. Both Larose and Fischer are banned from Target and both face criminal charges, including third-degree criminal trespassing and conspiracy.
They were arrested but released on a $25,000 unsecured bail. Play silly games and you are sure to win some very silly prizes!
