Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

We love having a family to look after and we would not change things for the world. However, it can be tough to go back and forth to the grocery store so much.

Between our kids’ constant snacking and all of their friends coming over to raid our fridge, it often feels like we are having to shop on a daily basis.

At a certain point, grocery store trips start to feel totally commonplace.

It is easy to end up on autopilot during these grocery runs and we understand that fully….believe us. Now, we are here to share a new tip that we have learned that is sure to make your grocery runs a little bit easier.

Most of our readers have probably seen the metal hoops that are present on most shopping carts. For some, this is also known as the toddler seating area. For others, it is the place where their purse rests while they are in the shopping process. While we have paid them no mind in the past, we have since found out that they serve a very special purpose.

We had no idea that we could use them as a place to hang our grocery bags! It’s one of those things that does not seem to make very much sense but once you stop to think about it, you will be wondering why you did not use them in this way before now.

In a perfect world, you would be able to hang all of your items that are easily squished and perishable in these bags.

This gives you room to place all of the heavier and more sturdy items in your shopping cart. We know that we are definitely going to be using these hoops in this manner going forward.
