The holiday season has arrived and we have been enjoying everyone’s decorations. The White House is now all decked out for Christmas and Dr. Jill Biden is here to show it all off.

Their decorations look amazing, as you would expect. These are some of the best and the brightest that we have come across thus far. The theme is also very touching.

In recognition of the fact that many families will not be able to spend the holidays together this year because of the ongoing pandemic, Dr. Biden has chosen a wonderful theme. “Gifts from the Heart” is designed to showcase all of the ways that we can come together and display our unity.

“Inspired by the acts of kindness and experiences that lifted our spirits this year, decorated rooms in the White House reflect the Gifts from the Heart that unite us all: faith, family, friendship, the arts, learning, nature, gratitude, service, community, peace, and unity,” she wrote on Instagram. Each room of the White House has been decorated in a manner that matches the theme.

The attention to detail here is absolutely out of sight. For starters, the “gift of the visual arts” is showcased in the Vermeil Room, where wreaths have been crafted out of paintbrushes that have already been dipped in paint. Pantone color sample swatches decorate the tree as well.

The Library Room focuses on the “gift of learning,” with gorgeous butterflies to highlight the room.

The State Dining Room is where things get really awesome. Can you believe that they have a massive gingerbread replica of the White House itself? It weighs in at over 350 pounds and is hard to wrap your mind around. The executive pastry chef who completed this job needed a whole team of helpers to craft it. The process took several weeks, as you might have imagined.

There are six stockings at the fireplace, one for each of their grandchildren. All told, the White House used 41 Christmas trees, 6,000 feet of ribbon, over 300 candles, and over 10,000 ornaments to create this winter wonderland, according to the White House.

We absolutely love the decor that they came up with and we hope that you did, too! Watch the video below to see more of it:
