The Office is the sort of show that tends to inspire a pretty serious fandom. There are no casual fans, it seems. You either love it to pieces or you are totally ambivalent.

We think that it would be safe to put this couple in the former category, that is for sure. When they decided that it was time to tie the knot, they knew that they had to incorporate their favorite show into the proceedings.

According to Insider, they asked their wedding videography crew if they would be willing to film the wedding in the same style as the show.

Of course, they were happy to agree. Justin Dowling and Ann Claire Crawford also decided to pull a little trick on their attendees. They told them that they were doing a simple courthouse ceremony but in reality, the supposedly humble ceremony that they were all invited to was a huge hoax.

They told everyone that they were going to an engagement party that was actually their wedding day. VirtuReel Productions is the company that they hired to capture the moments. Their wedding video was done in the same mockumentary style as The Office and it is well worth taking the time to watch.

The Office is our favorite TV series. Justin and I have a tradition that every Christmas day we watch every Christmas episode of The Office,” said Ann, according to Insider. “We are constantly quoting it, and our absolute favorite episode of the series is Jim and Pam’s wedding.” VirtuReel Productions decided to cut its own trailer of the wedding video, which has been shared on TikTok and YouTube.

In the video that you are about to see, the couple is interviewed by the production team before the guests have had a chance to arrive. They even had their own “Dundees” at the reception and guests were also interviewed in the same style throughout the evening. “Justin, John, and I gave them a list of questions to ask the guests and they interviewed them throughout the night,” Ann shares.
