Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Halloween is closer than you think and you are going to want to be prepared. This is especially true for those who plan on putting out candy for the local children this year.

While the past year led to some more muted Halloween celebrations, we are planning on being back out in full force this time around. We just love to hand out candy to all of the neighborhood children!

Now, Wal-Mart is here to provide you with a gigantic box of candy that is sure to satisfy the needs of your trick or treaters. If we had to guess, we would have to assume that there will also be plenty of candy on hand for you and your loved ones to enjoy after the holiday is over.

These boxes of Hershey’s candy are as big as they come and we are not exaggerating in the slightest. These boxes come with a whopping 488 pieces and all of your classic favorites are represented.

Each box comes with an array of miniature Kit Kats, Rolos, Reese’s candies, Jolly Ranchers, Twizzlers and Hershey’s Kisses in Milk Chocolate Kisses and Vampire flavor. They have really managed to pull out of all of the stops here.

We know what you are probably thinking right now. “Wow, that box of candy has to be pretty costly! 488 pieces of candy cannot come cheaply.” However, the box retails for $29.98! We did the math on this one and that totals out to 6 cents for each piece of candy. Not bad!

If you would like to take home one of these boxes for yourself, be sure to head to your local Wal-Mart and check out the selection. The boxes are also available online if you would like to snag one without having to head outside. As the temperatures start to take a turn for the chillier, we can easily see why many people would opt for this choice.

At least now, all of your Halloween concerns will be fully taken care of. We are just glad that there are going to be plenty of Reese’s to be had. These are our favorite candies of all if we are being 100 percent honest.

What’s your favorite candy? How many of these boxes are you going to be taking home?
