Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Now that social distancing is keeping many of us from being able to visit our favorite restaurants, many of our favorite eateries are providing us with kits that allow us to make and eat their foods at home.

Meanwhile, others continue to eat out and with many at a loss for work, saving money is crucial. TikTok user @tha_broski shared a mindblowing hack to use at McDonald’s to save money on McNuggets, among other items. His insider menu breakdown is an absolute must-see.

You see, @tha_broksi has done the very simple math and figured out that it is in your best interests to order two six-piece McNuggets ($2/each) instead of getting a 10 piece for $5.79. Not only do you save $1.79, but you also get an extra 2 nuggets!

However, you are going to want to make sure that you are checking the McDonald’s menu in your area. Every restaurant is going to have its own pricing structure, so this hack may not be as effective in other regions. Check the local McDonald’s on your own before driving over and expecting to eat for a certain price.

There’s another hack for you to try if this one does not work. Check the price of the four-piece McNuggets on your local menu. In many instances, it will be cheaper to buy three four-piece McNuggets than one ten-piece.

Oh, and don’t forget the french fries. The medium-sized fry is $1 more than the small and comes with the same amount of fries as the small. Don’t forget to thank @tha_broksi for these tips!
