When you purchase a cake from a professional baker, you expect something of quality. Unfortunately, you don’t always get what you hope for.
One woman took to TikTok an claimed she spent $300 on a dream chocolate cake but received something else entirely.
The cake she allegedly got looked nothing like the pictures that enticed her in the first place.
“I paid $300 for this,” Carlson shared in her video. “The lady dropped it off, what do I actually do?” she continued.
The cake that she saw in the picture looked elegant and most importantly, professionally made. The one that she claims to have got looks like someone tried to slap it together in their kitchen.
The mess that Libby Carlson received was posted to her TikTok and people immediately began to speculate the truth. While some were outraged by what they saw, others claimed she made the cake herself and is simply trying to get attention.
“When you say dropped it off, did she literally drop it? also how is that the same as the one in the photo??? HOW,” one viewer correctly surmised.
“I’m sorry, I literally do not believe you,” another person chimed in.

The woman has since gone silent on TikTok and hasn’t followed-up to say if she’s joking or not. We’re inclined to believe she is.
