Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

When it comes to brilliant ideas, some people have them and some people don’t. There are also certain ideas that may seem brilliant to some and may seem ridiculous to others. I think that is where this idea falls.

If you look around your home, you probably see something that is found in almost every home in the United States. I’m talking about a stack of board games that are either stacked on a shelf or hiding in a cupboard somewhere. They take up a lot of room, and in some cases, we don’t play them very often.

Of course, most of us don’t give the games much thought but that is not the case with Kristie Gilmore.

Kristie, who goes by the name @mrs.happygilmore on that social media platform, shared a video that is dividing the Internet in a big way. She showed the new setup for her board game storage but it wasn’t what anyone was expecting.

Rather than storing them in the boxes, she took the items out of the box and put them in a large zipper bag. Although the bags were able to fit nicely and neatly in the wire baskets and it did save a lot of space, people were not always happy about her solution.

Of course, Gilmore has been enjoying her viral success and has more than 400,000 people following her account. She regularly shares videos that show her idea of how to organize a home, whether people like it or not.

In true social media fashion, people are complaining and giving love to this share at the same time. One user said that it triggers them and that boxes are part of the experience. Others, however, are happy that she has such a minimalist attitude. Gilmore tries to answer every question. That’s quite a challenge, with so many people commenting.
