The Bachelor has always been a popular show but recently, it has seen a boost.
In 2021, they had the first black bachelor on the show and this year, they will be introducing a golden bachelor, with someone in their senior years.
There are many things we don’t yet know about the show, but here are a few things that have been revealed so far.
The network sent out an announcement in January 2020.
The announcement read: “The producers of ‘The Bachelor’ are looking for active and outgoing single men and women in their golden years for a new, exciting dating show! If you are a senior citizen ready for a committed relationship, apply today.”
A further announcement from ABC News showed that the show will celebrate the “golden years.”
A bachelor, dubbed as a hopeless romantic, will have an opportunity to search for a partner and have a second chance at love.
The show will be on Sunday evenings at 10 pm on ABC. The host for “The Golden Bachelor” has not yet been announced but many are hoping for “Grandpa John” as seen in the video below:
