He included the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Central Park, and the Rockefeller Center.
A 14-year-old teenager in Dublin, Ireland just came up with one of the most amazing ideas that we have ever seen. He was able to construct the whole city of Manhattan Island with LEGOs.
His freestyle model of Manhattan Island is one of the most incredible LEGO projects that we have ever laid eyes on. He included the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Central Park, and the Rockefeller Center.
Alex Bailey was not done there, either. Many of the city’s lesser-known buildings were also included. He has a real eye for detail. According to his mother, he dreams of becoming an architect once he is older.
“My 14 year old son built Manhattan using freestyle Lego. His dream is to be an architect or model designer at Lego,” his mother tweeted.

Some kids are content to spend their days playing video games or dancing on TikTok. This young man already has an eye toward his future and we commend him for that. Hopefully he is able to find a great college to continue his studies of the architecture world. Judging from the photos and videos of the replica island that he constructed, he could probably teach us a thing or two.

Anyone who has seen these photos and videos on their social media feed has already been marveling at this LEGO creation. We are not going to lie to you, we thought that the island was actually constructed by someone who is much older. The most impressive aspect of this construction has to be all of the green spaces that he included.
This is not a part of New York City that people are used to considering. Everyone thinks of the city as being a group of skyscrapers and little else.
