Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

When you wake up in the morning, one of the first things that you probably do is reach for a cup of coffee.

You might also try to give yourself a treat on occasion or perhaps every day by stopping at a local Starbucks.

If you happen to be a fan of Starbucks drinks, especially one of their Double Shot Espresso drinks, you will want to pay attention to what is happening. According to Food News Safety, 250,000 cans of those Double Shot Espresso beverages are being recalled by PepsiCo.

The recall is associated with the “Best By” date on the beverages. The date listed on the recalled cans is March 28, 2022. That could be wrong and the drinks may actually spoil before that date, leading to some health problems.

This isn’t exactly new news, as the recall first took place in September 2021. Now that the date marked on the containers is getting closer, it may be possible that some of them are starting to spoil.

Check this list and if you have any beverages on it, you should stop drinking them immediately. You have the option of throwing them away or taking them back to the store to get a refund.

Typically, the “best by” date is not a big issue but PepsiCo feels that there was a sealing issue with these containers as well, which could lead to them spoiling early.
