Crescent rolls are one of those little life savers that are nice to have in fridge. They complete a meal really nicely, but they’re also great for making all kinds of new recipes. For these spinach feta crescent rolls we’re adding some fresh flavor into these buttery rolls and it’s easy as can be.
To make this super simple we’re making the filling in the food processor. Chuck in some fresh spinach, parsley, and garlic for a tasty and wholesome filling for the dough. The base level of garlic is 1 clove, but if you love garlic you can add another for a bit more flavor.
Once the spinach mixture is ready stir in some feta cheese and you’re ready to roll, quite literally. Spread some filling on top and roll these up, tucking in any excess spinach as you go.
The last step is to bake them until they’re perfectly golden on top. Then serve these with just about any meal for a taste that’s not unlike spanakopita. For a more Greek flavor you can add some dried dill, but this is optional. As is these tasty rolls offer a delicious way to “church up” some basic crescent rolls.
I love how simple and easy this recipe is. It goes from food processor to table in minimal time, but with great results.
The next time you need a tasty side this one’s a cakewalk to prepare.
