For example, there is a new beauty trend that has become all of the rage on TikTok. While this is all well and good, Sephora employees are the ones who are forced to endure it and they are not pleased.

As it turns out, people are heading to the makeup stores to make what is known as a “skincare smoothie.”

These “smoothies” are made by mixing a wide range of different product samples together. It’s the sort of thing that is sure to drive an employee mad. We can understand exactly where they are coming from on this one. As you would expect, this idea forces the employees to have to clean up after them. People are making an absolute mess.

Facial serums, retinol creams, and high-end lotions are among the items that are being utilized for these smoothies.

Drunk Elephant coined the skincare smoothie term last year and many of these mixtures tend to involve the products that they have to offer. To create one of your own, all you need to do is combine the products that you like most to achieve the effect you desire.

If the smoothie is made at home, there is nothing to worry about. After all, who will care if you decide that you are going to destroy your own bathroom with this type of project? That is your call and no one will mind.

The problem comes into play when people expect hard-working employees to be the ones to clean up after them.

Sephora employees already have it hard enough without having to be subjected to this type of behavior. Beauty lovers are free to engage in these tactics if they want to but employees are more than welcome to let you know that you are making their job harder than it needs to be.
