TJ Maxx and Wal-Mart shoppers were treated to an amazing surprise this past Thanksgiving. Superstar singer Sia stopped by for an impromptu visit. She was giving photos, hugs and even paying for people’s purchases. Best of all, she was not looking for any sort of special recognition. Instead, she told the shoppers that she was actually a lottery winner.
She did not want the attention that would be associated with the truth. If they had known that they were in the presence of the “Chandelier” singer, they might have lost their cool entirely. It is great to see entertainers giving back like this, though. They do not have to take the time to do so. That’s what makes Sia’s actions so special.

She could have stayed home and enjoyed the holiday. Instead, she decided to pay her success forward and brighten up other people’s days. Sia is well known for hiding her face so that she isn’t as recognizable as other celebrities of her ilk. This allows her to hide in plain sight. She was given the chance to help others, without being mobbed by legions of fans.
That is the perfect level of fame. She is able to make other people’s days a bit nicer without having to endure the type of attention that causes other celebrities to lose sight of what is truly important. We are grateful to have public figures like these. There are too many people who simply lose sight of what the holiday season is all about and that is too bad.
Of course, there were some die-hard fans that we’re able to recognize her but all was well. They just wanted to take pictures with their fave! All she wanted to know was who was next up in the Wal-Mart line, though. She took lots and lots of photos and swiped her card lots and lots of times. This is the type of story that we like to see and we are sure that you are going to want to share.

Just imagine how awesome it would be to have one of your favorite celebrities paying for your purchases the next time you are at Wal-Mart. Even Wal-Mart had to acknowledge the generosity that she was willing to offer. After all, this isn’t exactly something that happens on an everyday basis.
