When you are in the market for a new home, you may do a lot of looking. You see how other people live and often, you are walking through areas that are staged for your benefit.
It’s important to try to put yourself into the home and envision what you would do to change things. Perhaps the home is even perfect, just the way it is.
Most people will make their home just right for the person who is looking at it. They try to keep it from being overly personalized and they may even put cookies on the table.
There is one home in the UK, however, that doesn’t seem to be attracting the right type of attention. Many people have come to see it because, according to the listing, it is a four-bedroom home with a master suite, garage, and garden.
When you pull up to the house, you probably are very excited and ready to go see the inside. It is once people step indoors, however, that their mind is suddenly changed.
After all, everything inside the house is purple.
There may be times when you have a feature color on the wall. There is nothing wrong with being bold and putting your personality into the home, but somebody went overboard in this case.
Even if you love the color purple, you may have difficulty with how much of the color is in this house. Everything from the ceiling to the floors is purple, and it goes throughout every room.
Even the closet doors located in the master suite are purple. Everything else may get changed out easily enough with some paint or a change to the floor, but that is going to be an expense.
When you go to the bathroom, you have purple flowers on the tiles and a shag purple carpet. The carpet is even on the side of the tub!
It doesn’t take very long after being in the house that you get tired of the color purple. That is when you step out into the garden, and you see a lot of green.
They sometimes say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When most people behold the interior of this home, however, beauty is the farthest thing from their mind. You can see photos of the house for yourself on the listing here.SKM: below-content placeholder
