Quite honestly, there are more treats than we could probably name that may grace our Thanksgiving table. Some of the heavy hitters include pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, and pound cake. We sometimes find ourselves limited in what we are able to eat after such a large meal but there is no need to miss out on any of the treats.
Zac Young is not only a pastry chef, but he also judges various television baking competitions and is the director of the Craveable Hospitality Group. He has put together the ‘Piecaken’ to blend all of the best of what Thanksgiving dessert has to offer into one awesome pie.
The Piecaken contains layers of pecan pie, pumpkin pie, spiced pound cake, and apple pie filling blended into a piece of edible perfection. It also includes plenty of butter and cinnamon buttercream to hold everything together. It’s the perfect Thanksgiving treat and even vegetarians can get in on the action.
Originally, you could only order the Piecaken at one of Young’s restaurants but it has since gone viral. It seems as if everybody wants a piece of their cake and they want to eat it too, even if they can’t get to one of his eateries.
