It was a long, hard winter without Peeps, but now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Peeps are making their way back to store shelves, at long last. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were not in stores for Halloween or Christmas. Easter just wouldn’t be the same without them, so we’re really excited to see them making a comeback in 2021!
Luckily, Peeps confirmed that the beloved marshmallows will, indeed, be back in stores soon.
While there are certainly lots of other things to worry about, this news definitely makes Easter a bit brighter. In fact, depending on location, these treats are already making their way back to stores and being spotted on store shelves.
Some people have even spotted speciality Peeps, like the Cotton Candy, Hot Tamales, Sour Watermelon, and Party Cake flavors.
Even if you are someone who is lukewarm on these treats, you have to admit that it is nice to see things starting to revert to normalcy. This year, we will be putting our Easter baskets together in the manner that the snack gods intended, with plenty of Peeps by our side!
