Today’s recipe has a late summer feel to it, but is tasty enough that you’ll want to make it all year long. We present to you… Peach Pecan Dip! Any Southerner knows that peaches and pecans are a match made in heaven and this dish certainly drives that idea home. Let’s get into how it’s made.

Start things out by toasting your pecans in a generous amount of butter, then mix in a little brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until the nuts are delightfully sticky then remove from heat. While the pecans cool, beat together the cream cheese and cool whip until smooth. You’ll then spread the creamy mixture in a 8×8-inch baking dish or pie dish. Top it off with your favorite peach jam or preserve and sprinkle with the cooled pecans. The final results will have you licking your lips!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup pecans
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 (8 oz) frozen whipped topping
  • 13 oz jar peach jam
  • Nilla wafers, cookies, pretzels, etc. for serving
Preparation
  1. In a small skillet over medium heat, add butter and pecan. Stirring often, toast for 3-5 minutes, then add brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and cool whip until smooth. Transfer mixture to an 8x8-inch dish and spread into an even layer.
  3. Spoon jam on cream mixture and spread to edges.
  4. Top with the cooled pecans and chill until ready to serve.
