TikTok does not leave any stone unturned, do they? This is especially true when it comes to matters that are related to household maintenance.
Now, this user is blowing minds all over the world with this hack, which definitely was a game-changer for us as well. LeeAnn Larsen provided this clip as a response to another user named Taylor Snider. Snider initially went viral for questioning the viability of paper towel holders.
It’s a common complaint but now, we have the chance to learn more. “Why do I feel like this should have a function?” asked Snider in the video. “Why is this here?”
The video got millions of views, as everyone clamored to add their two cents in the comment section. People wanted to explain things to her and rightfully so.

Larsen’s explanation is an instant classic, as she is here to explain the proper way to use one of these holders. At least, it’s the proper way, according to her. Did you know that the paper towels can actually be threaded through the two loops that each holder has?
When you want a towel, you can use the loops to help break the towel off.
While this solution is a simple one, the responses were anything but. We could not stop laughing at all of the retorts.
As it turns out, we are not the only ones who were spellbound by this clip. The comments were full of people who were sure to let us know that they were today years old when they first learned about this one.

Of course, there were also people who were quick to point out that the hoops are actually for paper napkins. Using it that way, the holder functions as a paper towel stand and a napkin stand.
Based on product descriptions, it seems paper towel holders are just that – for paper towels. They can double as napkin-holders, but that’s not their purpose.
So, we’re not 100% sure whose right about the paper towel holder. Perhaps it’s a decorative hoop, but perhaps it’s meant to feed the towels through!
